Stripping beds, washing towels and sweeping floors are what the cleaning fee pays for, and guests know it. Send the reminder the evening before, not the morning of. If not, no worries, they'll go in the lost and found box. ## Tips for check-out messages ### Send it between 6 and 8 PM the night before Guests are back from dinner and planning the morning. A message at this hour gets read and acted on. ### Three tasks, maximum Keys, trash, windows. Anything beyond three reads as a chore list and shows up in reviews as the host made us clean. ### Explain the time when it is firm The next guests arrive at 3 is a reason. Because those are the rules is not. ### Offer late check-out proactively When the calendar allows, offer it before they ask. It costs nothing and earns a sentence in the review. ### Thank them in the morning message too The last message a guest reads before leaving colors how they remember the stay.
