Not every invitation is a wedding or a birthday. Here's wording for the events that come up in between - swap in your details and send as-is.

## Dinner party or get-together

- “Having a few people over for dinner on \[date\], \[time\]. Would love for you to come - let me know if you're free.”
- “\[Date\] dinner at mine, \[time\]. Bring nothing, just yourself.”

## Housewarming

- “We're finally settled in and want to show you the new place! Come by \[date\] at \[time\], \[address\].”
- “Housewarming on \[date\], starting \[time\]. Drop in whenever works for you.”

## Casual hangout or game night

- “Game night at \[place\], \[date\] at \[time\]. In?”
- “Getting people together this \[day\] at \[time\], \[place\]. No occasion, just been a while.”

## Work or team event

- “Team get-together on \[date\] at \[time\], \[place\]. Partners welcome. Let me know if you can make it.”

## Save-the-date (early heads-up)

- “Save the date - \[date\]. Details to follow, but wanted to get this on your calendar early.”

For tracking who's actually confirmed once the group gets past a handful of people, a plain message stops being enough to keep in your head - see [how Eventi turns the same kind of message into a tracked invitation](/blog/how-eventi-sends-whatsapp-invitations).

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need a business account to send these?

### How do I know who's actually coming if I send one of these myself?

### Can I reuse the same message for a recurring event?
