# The Knot vs Eventi for a wedding website

## What The Knot does well

The Knot's page says creating a website is free, lists more than 100 designs, most with coordinating printed invitations, and offers a custom RSVP page with dietary and other questions. It has a per-site Appear in search engines setting, so couples can keep the site out of Google, and a couple search page so guests can find a site by name. A custom domain through The Knot is $19.99 for one year or $39.98 for two, per its own page. If you are planning a US wedding and want vendors, registry and paper in one account, it is a strong choice.

## Where Eventi is different

Eventi's RSVP is tied to a guest list where each guest has a personal link, and the same list is updated by replies on the site, in WhatsApp and by SMS. Sending those invitations with reply buttons and automatic reminders is the paid product, $0.45 per invitation; the site itself is free. The AI writer drafts the whole site from your details, in English or Hebrew, and Hebrew sites are laid out right to left. A custom domain is $29 once instead of a yearly fee.

Both builders let you keep the site out of search engines. On Eventi that is the default and you opt in; on The Knot it is a setting you turn off. Both are reasonable; the difference is which way you have to remember to flip it.

## Which should you pick?

Pick The Knot if you want the vendor marketplace, a US registry and coordinating printed invitations under one roof. Pick Eventi if the RSVP should run through WhatsApp and SMS with reminders, if you need Hebrew, or if you prefer a one-time domain price. You can link a Knot registry from an Eventi site.

We quote each builder's own pages, link the source and date the check. Where a page did not state something we say so rather than guess. Prices and features change, so verify on their sites before you decide.
