First birthday: 11 ready messages

# 1st birthday invitation message
from the parents, with the puja, the cake and the blessings.

A first birthday invitation message is written by the parents, and in most Indian families it covers two things: the puja or prayer in the morning and the cake cutting with lunch or dinner after. Below are eleven messages for a 1st birthday, from a formal invitation by the grandparents to a two-line WhatsApp message from the parents, with templates you can fill in. Copy the one that fits, change the baby's name and the date, and send it to each family.

## What to include in a first birthday invitation message

Check the message covers these points before you send it, so no guest has to ask you for details later.

- The baby's name and that it is the first birthday, in the first line.
- The puja or prayer time and the cake cutting time, if they are different.
- The venue with a landmark, and a note on the lift or parking for grandparents.
- Who is invited: the family, the kids, the whole floor.
- A line on gifts, since many parents prefer blessings or books.
- A reply-by date tied to the caterer or the cake order.

### Before you send

- Give two times if there are two parts: the puja for the family in the morning, the cake and the party for everyone in the evening. Guests choose the part they can attend.
- Mention the nap. A party from 4 pm to 6:30 pm with the cake at 5 keeps the birthday child awake for the photos.
- Grandparents often want to invite their own circle. Send them the message early so they can forward it in their own words.
- Ask for the headcount by a day that leaves the caterer time, and say so in the message.

## Send the first birthday invitation on WhatsApp with one-tap replies

Paste the message once and every family receives it individually on WhatsApp with Yes, No and Maybe buttons. The count updates as replies come in, so the cake and the caterer are ordered for the right number, and the relatives who forget are reminded before the day.

1. 1Copy the message you like and change the names, the date, the time and the venue.
2. 2Open the free card maker if you want a visual card to go with it, pick a template and download the PNG with no watermark.
3. 3Add your guest list and send. Every guest receives the message on WhatsApp with one-tap Yes, No and Maybe buttons, and nobody has to install an app.
4. 4Reminders go out on their own to guests who have not replied, and your headcount updates live as the answers come in.

## The message is half the job.
The replies are the other half.

Paste any of these into Eventi and it goes to each guest on WhatsApp with the card and Yes / No / Maybe buttons inside the message. Replies are counted, confirmed guests are asked how many are coming, and the silent ones get a reminder. You pay once per event, by the number of invitations.
