Copy ## What to include in a farewell invitation message Check the message covers these points before you send it, so no guest has to ask you for details later. - Who is leaving and where they are going, since the message is often the first time people hear it. - Who is hosting: the team, the juniors, the society or a few friends. - The venue with a landmark, the date and the time, and whether food is served. - Whether it is a surprise and who not to tell. - The dress code for a college farewell, formal or the batch T-shirt. - A reply-by date and the person collecting the replies. ### Before you send - Say what the person is leaving for.
