# Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Eventi helps you send event invitations over WhatsApp and SMS and track who is coming. That means we handle two kinds of information: details about you, the person running the event, and details about your guests, which you upload so we can deliver their invitations. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, who helps us process it, and how to get it removed. We keep it in plain language on purpose.

## What we collect

From you, we collect your account email and the details of the events you create: names, dates, locations, your invitation text and images, and your reminder settings. From your guest list, we collect the guest names and phone numbers you upload, plus the RSVP each guest gives and basic delivery information such as whether a message was sent, delivered and opened. We also keep normal server logs to run the service securely.

## Why we collect it

We use this information for one purpose: to run the event you set up. Phone numbers and names are used to send each guest their personal invitation over WhatsApp or SMS and to record their reply. Delivery information is used to show you a live report of who has answered and to decide who still needs a reminder. Your account email is used to sign you in, send you service messages, and reach you if there is a problem.

## Who processes your data

We do not run every piece of infrastructure ourselves. We rely on a small set of trusted providers, and we share only what each one needs to do its job:

- **Twilio** delivers the WhatsApp and SMS invitations and reminders, so it processes guest phone numbers and message content.
- **Stripe** handles billing and payment details when you pay for invitations.
- **Resend** sends the email we send to you, the account holder.
- **Hosting infrastructure** runs the app and stores your event data.

## Guest data stays yours

The guest names and phone numbers you upload belong to your event and your organization. They are scoped to your account. We never sell them, we never share them with other customers, and we do not use one customer's guest list to do anything for another. Your guests are your relationships, not ours.

## Text messages (SMS)

Guests receive text messages only for an event they were invited to, and only after the host confirms, when adding them, that each guest agreed to receive messages about that event. Messages are event updates: the invitation, RSVP reminders, day-of directions and a thank-you note, typically a handful per event. Guests can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, and HELP for help or to reach us at [\[email protected\]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection). Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. The only parties that receive phone numbers are the service providers listed above, solely to deliver the event's messages.

## Retention

We keep your event and guest data for as long as you need it to run the event. When you delete an event, its guest list and RSVPs are deleted with it. When you delete your account, we remove your data. Some records may persist briefly in encrypted backups before they age out, and we may retain the minimum billing records we are required to keep by law.

## Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and your guests' data, at any time. Much of this you can do yourself inside the app by editing or deleting an event. For anything else, email [\[email protected\]](/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection#f2818782829d8086b2879784979c869bdc919d9f) and we will handle the request.

## Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in, a cookie that remembers your language, and a cookie that remembers which campaign brought you to Eventi for 90 days. We also use the Meta Pixel on our website, login and onboarding pages to measure and improve our advertising. It lets Meta receive the page you visited and identifiers stored in your browser, and Meta may use this under its own terms. We do not send Meta your name, email address, phone number, or your guest lists.

## Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change to how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top, and let account holders know before it takes effect.
