Class committees, family organizers and veteran associations

# Twenty years later,
everyone answers

The class of 2006 committee has a Facebook group where ninety people said interested and eleven bought a ticket. The Okafor family reunion organizer has cousins in four states and a caterer who needs a number. A unit reunion committee has a mailing list with addresses from 1998. Import the names and numbers you have, send one WhatsApp with Yes, No and Maybe buttons, let the reminders chase the silent, and get a headcount per branch of the family or per graduating year.

Hi Marcus, this is the Lincoln High Class of 2006 reunion committee. The 20-year reunion is Saturday, August 16, at the Grand Hotel downtown. Are you coming?

YesNoMaybe

Maybe

No pressure. We will check back in a few weeks. If you know you are in, reply here any time and we will save you a seat.

## How it works

1

### Import whoever you can find

Paste names and numbers from the committee spreadsheet or the family tree. A group column for graduating year, family branch, company or platoon lets you count each on its own.

2

### Write the invitation once

Date, place, and whether there is a Friday mixer. Three buttons with your labels. WhatsApp approves the wording within about a day. Wrong numbers come back as replies and are filed as such.

3

### Remind the silent, ask the maybes again

Those who answered hear nothing more. The silent get a reminder inside quiet hours and a final one. A later send can go to the maybes alone.

4

### Headcount, tables and name tags

After a yes, a follow-up asks how many are coming and about dietary needs. The dashboard counts per branch or year, seating tables group the old friends, and the check-in screen at the door knows who is who.

## What you get

### Wrong numbers surface early

A reply that says you have the wrong person is read and filed, so the committee knows which classmates still need finding, months before the date.

### A count by table

Family branch, graduating year or company become groups, and the headcount per group fills the seating tables.

### The maybes get a second ask

Export the Maybe column and send to it alone a month later, which is where most reunion numbers come from.

### A one-page site and a day-of note

An optional page with the schedule and the hotel block, a morning-of message with the address, and a thank-you with the photo link afterwards.

## What works today

- One list per reunion, with branches, years or units as groups.
- Three buttons with your labels, reminders to the silent, a final reminder, a day-of message and a thank-you.
- Headcount and dietary follow-ups, seating tables, a check-in screen, a one-page website and a spreadsheet export.
- Text fallback from a toll-free US number, and AI voice calls in English in the complete package.

## What comes next

- Ticket purchase inside the message, once payment links are in.
- A connection to alumni and association databases so the list arrives without an export.

## Questions businesses ask

Straight answers before you send anything.

### Half our list is email addresses from 2006. Does this help?

### What does a classmate or cousin see?

### Can people pay for tickets from the message?

### What does it cost?

### Can someone opt out, and is the list private?

## Try it with your own list this week.
