A wedding card invitation message is the text printed on the card itself, laid out line by line: the opening blessing, who is inviting, the couple, the date with the muhurat, the venue and the request for blessings. Below are nine texts you can paste into a card design or a WhatsApp card: three in the classic Hindu format, three in a modern voice, and three short captions to send along with the card image. Copy ## What to include in a wedding card invitation message Check the message covers these points before you send it, so no guest has to ask you for details later. - An opening blessing if the family uses one: Shree Ganeshaya Namah, Om Shri Ganeshay Namah or a line from the family's tradition. - Who is inviting, with full names and the honorifics the family uses, and whose son or daughter is marrying. - The couple's names on their own lines, so they are the first thing the eye lands on. - The date with the day of the week, the muhurat and the baraat time, and the venue with the area. - The programme for the other functions, each with its date, time and venue, if the card covers them. - A reply-by date and the names of the hosts at the bottom. ### Before you send - Keep the line breaks when you paste the text into a card design. The layout is half the formality. - Print the venue the way a driver would search for it.
