# Wedding invitation message from parents
from both families, the bride's side and the groom's side.

A wedding invitation message from parents is the version most Indian guests receive: the parents' names, the couple, the date with the baraat or muhurat, the venue and a request to come with the family and bless the children. Below are ten messages for WhatsApp, written from both sets of parents together, from the bride's parents and from the groom's parents, each with a formal line, a shorter one and a template. Copy the one that fits your side and send it with the card.

## What to include in a parents' wedding invitation message

Check the message covers these points before you send it, so no guest has to ask you for details later.

- The parents' names, both couples in a joint message, one couple when each side sends its own.
- The couple's names, with whose son and whose daughter they are.
- The date with the day, the baraat time for the groom's side and the pheras or muhurat for everyone.
- The venue with the area and a landmark, and the baraat departure point if guests travel with it.
- A line asking the guest to come with the family and bless the children.
- A reply-by date and the names of the senders at the end.

### Before you send

- Decide early whether the two families send one message or each sends its own. Guests who get both versions ask which one to reply to.
- The groom's parents invite to the baraat, the bride's parents to the pheras and dinner. Put the right time first for your side.
- Write one formal version for elders and one in your own voice for friends. Both carry the same date and venue.
- Sign with your names at the end, even in a family group where everyone knows you.

## Send the parents' invitation on WhatsApp with one-tap replies

Paste the message once and each guest receives it individually on WhatsApp with the card and Yes, No and Maybe buttons. You see who is coming from each side, confirmed guests are asked how many are coming, and the silent ones get a reminder before the reply-by date.

1. 1Copy the message you like and change the names, the date, the time and the venue.
2. 2Open the free card maker if you want a visual card to go with it, pick a template and download the PNG with no watermark.
3. 3Add your guest list and send. Every guest receives the message on WhatsApp with one-tap Yes, No and Maybe buttons, and nobody has to install an app.
4. 4Reminders go out on their own to guests who have not replied, and your headcount updates live as the answers come in.

## The message is half the job.
The replies are the other half.

Paste any of these into Eventi and it goes to each guest on WhatsApp with the card and Yes / No / Maybe buttons inside the message. Replies are counted, confirmed guests are asked how many are coming, and the silent ones get a reminder. You pay once per event, by the number of invitations.
