Copy ## What to include in a marriage invitation message Check the message covers these points before you send it, so no guest has to ask you for details later. - The names of the couple and who is inviting: the parents, both families or the couple themselves. - The date, the day of the week and the muhurat or the time the ceremony starts. - The venue with a landmark or the area, and a line about parking if it is tricky. - Who is invited: you, you and family, or you and a plus one, so nobody has to ask. - Which functions the guest is invited to, with the time of each if the lists differ. - A reply-by date with a reason, such as the caterer's count or the hotel booking. ### Before you send - Write the formal version for elders and relatives and a shorter, warmer one for friends.
