Copy ## What to include in a reception invitation message Check the message covers these points before you send it, so no guest has to ask you for details later. - The names of the couple and a line saying the wedding has taken place or where it will take place. - The date and the time the evening starts, with the dinner time if guests tend to arrive late. - The venue with the area or a landmark, and a parking note for a hotel venue. - Who is hosting: the couple or the parents, so the guest knows whom to greet first. - Whether spouses and children are invited, especially for office colleagues. - A reply-by date and how to reply. ### Before you send - Say reception clearly in the first line. Guests who receive only this message should not look for a muhurat. - Give the dinner time as well as the start time.
