## Who Modern Editorial suits

Modern Editorial is for couples who would rather have no ornament at all: a city hall ceremony and a long table at a restaurant, a loft or gallery party, a warehouse with string lights, or a destination wedding where the photographs are the whole point. It is the design designers and architects pick, and it is the one to choose if your invitation is black ink on white. The large type makes it a strong fit for a short, confident site with a few sections and a handful of very good photos. Corporate events and launch parties also use it, since it does not look like a wedding template until you add the names.

## Colours and texture

The page is a warm off-white, headings are near black, and the single accent is a brick red used sparingly for links, the RSVP button and the thin bar that marks each section. There is no grain, no rounded corner and no pattern. Photos sit in a two-column grid with generous margins, and whitespace does the work that ornaments do elsewhere. The result prints well too, if you ever want a PDF of the site for older relatives.

## Typography

Headings are Playfair Display at very large sizes with tight letter spacing; the names are the same face in italic. Body text is Heebo, a geometric sans that also covers Hebrew, so the Hebrew version keeps the same body font and switches headings to Frank Ruhl Libre with the grid mirrored.

## Sections in this design

- Full-bleed hero. Your names in oversized type over one large photo, or on plain paper if you prefer.
- The plan. A single column of times and places, one line each.
- Photo grid. A magazine-style grid of six to twelve photographs with captions.
- RSVP. A minimal form: coming, not coming, number of guests, notes.
- Practical details. Address, parking, dress code and accommodation in short paragraphs.
- Registry. A list of links with a one-line note.
- Countdown. Optional days-to-go block in the same large type.
